Simplifying autoimmune care with thoughtful, calming design.
Designing for Viuhealth was more than refining screens, it was about crafting peace of mind for people living with autoimmune and chronic conditions. As their Lead Graphic and Senior UI/UX Designer for over two years, I helped shape a product grounded in inclusive and accessible design, putting empathy and care at the center of every screen.
The core challenge was making a complex healthcare experience feel intuitive, cohesive, and human. Working with stakeholders, engineers, and care teams, I led user experience improvements across mobile, dashboard, and web, driven by user journeys, pain points, and real feedback from both patients and providers.
We focused on creating a seamless experience using user personas and scenario-based flows to guide the design.
The brand identity had already been developed, so my focus was on upholding that vision while expanding the design system across multiple platforms, the mobile app, dashboard and website.
Working daily with Viuhealth’s talented product team, I led several UI updates for both the user and care provider dashboards, ensuring the product adapted to the real needs of patients and clinicians alike. I also fully redesigned and developed their new website in Webflow, turning a previously outdated experience into a user centered and informative destination that reflected their mission.
Throughout my time at Viuhealth, I delivered marketing assets, social content, internal collateral, and custom UI work all crafted in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
The redesigned website received glowing reviews upon launch and helped better position Viuhealth as a forward-thinking leader in chronic care. Every screen, page, and campaign was a step toward making care more accessible, approachable, and empowering.
